Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, John moved to Laguna Beach after college and became an advertising copy writer and Account Executive for several of Orange County's top advertising agencies. After nine years in advertising, John decided to return to school and get his Masters Degree in American Literature at the University of Californian, San Diego.
Because of his background as a writer, John was asked to be an instructor in writing for the Muir College writing program at UCSD while he earned his Masters. After receiving his Masters, which analyzed the use of fiction and oral tradition in the Native American novel Seven Arrows, he was asked to stay on as an instructor and continued to teach writing for 10 years.
After leaving education, John experienced a rewarding employment period in business development, sales and marketing in the field of health care, which John particularly enjoyed, as he likes to help others.
Due to his desire to continue helping people, John has found real estate to be the perfect setting for him, as it allows him to provide a family, or an individual, with his personal, professional, friendly and "follow through" assistance for any housing or property need they may have. He finds doing that to be very rewarding and fulfilling, and genuinely looks forward to helping people achieve their particular real estate dream or goal.
An avid reader, John usually has his nose in a book, but he also enjoys laughter and good cheer with family and friends, bike rides along the coast with buddies, and whacking a dimpled golf ball around our local courses. d friends, bike rides along the coast with buddies, and whacking a dimpled golf ball around our local courses.
